Welcome to the website of the "Life Design Actionbook", in which we use the science of action to show how to get better from thinking to action with 7 core strategies in order to procrastinate less and bring more of yourself into the future.

Turning ideas into action

With the Life Design Action Book, you can better put your ideas and thoughts into practice. The new science of action with 7 x 7 strategies helps you to procrastinate less and get better from thinking to action.

Try it out with helpful structures, with healthy boundaries instead of distraction, and clever nudges. Be the DJ of your inner sound, manage your energy and not just your time, use your strengths for enthusiasm and get out there and realize your thoughts.

Do it like many other organizations such as B. the United Nations, Nike or the agency Jung von Matt and bring more of yourself into your future with Life Design. The 30-day challenge, the 90-day program and over 60 templates for your personal life design will help you with this.

SCIENCE OF ACTION

This new framework brings together the seven main reasons why people procrastinate, procrastinate and don't get into action and offers 7 core strategies for each of the 7 reasons on how to better get from thinking to action. 

The strategies marked in pink are about overcoming the so-called knowing-doing gap with more bounce, while the strategies marked in blue are about reducing the effort.

What keeps you from doing and how can the 7 core strategies help you to get a little more or better from thinking into action?

You can use the following blockades, saboteurs or resistance as a guide and you will find 7 concrete methods for each of the 7 core strategies in the respective chapters, so that you can choose from 7x7 methods!

METHODS


For each of the seven core strategies, we've put together a set of methods that can use different senses to get you more from thinking to doing. Be it through visual templates, through playlists, through smells, through getting up and physical activities as well as by using the book itself, e.g., to be less distracted by the mobile phone or to ensure a friendly "No" with a door sign and so you are less distracted.

Visually record what you have already achieved, this gives you self-efficacy and motivation. Keep track of what the next steps are, this gives you orientation and goal-oriented work. You can hang it up where it is clearly visible.

Keep track of what is important to you and what is important to you in life. What do you want to stand up for? What will influence your next (professional) decision? The manifesto offers a great opportunity to put everything on one page and invites you to exchange ideas with others.

If you want or need to make a decision but are struggling, then this chart is useful for comparing the pulling and holding forces. In this way you can better understand for yourself and with others what gives and draws energy and what takes and holds back energy. This gives the opportunity to look for strategies on how to reduce or eliminate the holding forces.
